This is why I created these retreats.
In my years of clinical practice, I’ve found that giving good advice is easy. But creating real, lasting change in someone’s life is hard. Only a fraction of people make the changes to their lifestyle that bring the most rewards amidst the chaos of their daily lives.
These retreats provide the solution.

The framework we use is The Path of Balance & Harmony - a system of powerful, ancient practices that nourish every part of you; building great physical, emotional and mental stability. We focus on building what I call 'positive health karma': small vitality-nourishing actions regularly that create profound shifts in your body and mind. This isn't about a temporary escape; it's about building your sense of your own physical and mental stability and the confidence of how to manage your own health well moving forward, in a robust, time-tested way.

At all events we will dine on delicious healthy food, personalised health diagnosis and acupuncture treatment, focus on breathwork, mediation, qigong (classical remedial exercises to regulate the human organism), mindset, nature and the community network - a collection of people doing good things in a good way.

For those who know my work, you know I am more than an acupuncturist. This retreat is where we take the insights from my clinical work, martial and internal arts training - incorporated into a system I call the Path of Balance and Harmony - and use them to establish real-world resilience and to generate vitality for ourselves day by day. The power to self regulate.
It is for those who are ready to go deeper, who want more and are prepared to invest in a future where they don’t just age, but age well and evolve. I’m convinced I’m reaching my peak at 75. This is the spirit to imbibe on this trip.
We will spend a week at a cosy and yet-to-be-confirmed retreat centre in the UK mountains. Cosy inside, yes, but we don’t hide from the cold and challenge of January; we meet it head-on. With an emphasis on balance between Resting Well and Moving Well, we will climb a mountain, we will hike. We will use these physical challenges to learn how to replace tension with trust, faith and belief. With action. You will discover, in real-time, how the ancient practices I teach become your source of strength when you need it most.
